I have a dear friend who is trying to increase the Omega3s in her diet but who has a neice who is allergic to walnuts. So here is recipe using hemp seeds, also an excellent source of Omega3 essential fatty acids (not to mention an incredible vegan source of amino acids).
A small handful of Parsley
A small handful of Spinach
1 clove of Garlic
Sea Salt to taste
3 T. Hemp Seeds or soaked Almonds
1 T. Olive Oil
Juice from 1/2 a juicy Lemon or shot of Apple Cider Vinegar (to taste)
1-3 T. Water to make a sauce-y consistency
Blend all the Green Gravy ingredients on high until smooth. Use as a dip for veggies or pour over rice, salad, you-name-it.
